Where To Begin
Forty Suns is extending the conversation.
In everything we do, with this site, with our blogs, with our newsletter, our books, our channels and shows, our branding, our merch and every other thing we're up to, our central hope is this:
That space become a regular topic among the majority.
It's important we're having that discussion.
This, then, is where we begin. By talking with others about the next frontier. By having that dialog, engaging in that debate, initiating discourse with friends. By taking it online; by bringing up space wherever conversations occur.
Not often, certainly not always, but some.
If enough of us are talking about it, even if only now and again, our future out there becomes that much more certain.
For that is where our future lies.
If our focus determines our reality, and it does, then add space to the mix.
How you do that is pretty easy.
Live your life as you do, do your favorite things, watch your favorite shows, hang out with your favorite friends, go to your favorite restaurants and eat your favorite foods. Among that, now and again, throw a little attention toward space things.
You'll be surprised how that builds.
Beyond conversations, if you're out to do more, consider the following short-list.
Every few days:
- Make a post or repost about space
- Make a comment IRL (in real life) or mention something about the High Frontier
- Educate yourself on some new aspect of what's being done
- Spend 10-15 minutes reading a space-related post, or watching a space-related video
- Execute an incremental advance of your knowledge on something you already know about space and/or understand, taking one step closer to mastery
Imagine how our future in space would rise to the level of awareness of everyone.
It starts with each of us.
We’ll not all be astronauts or rocket scientists, but we can each turn our attention toward these next, monumental steps. The strength of our focus, and our support, spread across the majority, is immense.
