Dedication

Dedicated to the moment.

This is our playing field.

Have fun while you’re here.

Leave it better than you found it.

Don’t get too serious.

In that we bear a certain responsibility. If we're to leave this playing field better for the next of us, we must rapidly open the high frontier.

A great idea. But there's a problem.

Space is hard.

Like, really hard. And not many of us are doing it.

Not yet.

Therefore, if this is to work, if we're to move to our next logical evolution, a special Directive could help.

Our Directive

Space is hard.

  • 20% of us know space is the answer and support it.
  • 70% of us know stuff is happening in space, but not much else.
  • 10% are set against it.

We’d like to take things up with that 10%, but there is no time.

Space is hard. There’s a lot to do.

As you may imagine our goal is the 70%. At some point we’ll have to come back for the 10% crowd, and we look forward to that day.

We do.

But that day is not today.

Today and for many days to come we must focus on getting the show on the road.

Which means the 10% that take issue will have to wait. We’re all for spirited discussions of how we make our space future happen. There are many ways to go about it. Those discussions we will be having.

But for those simply against a rapid, unapologetic push toward our next frontier, their disagreements must be shelved till later. We wish things were different, but at this stage of the grand game they’ll need to be ignored.

It’s for the greater good.

Trust us, our efforts are better spent looking ahead.

The concerns of the 10% may be valid, but we don't have time for "can't do" comments.

Come to the discussion with solutions, or hold that thought.
